Apr. 6, '12 3:16am 		Jim Marshall, who invented the Marshall guitar amp and founded Marshall Amplification in 1962, died Thursday in England. The ubiquitous and affordable amps he made were staples in rock bands throughout the years. He was 88. For more about his life, check out Rolling Stone, Paste, Pitchfork, Billboard, and NME.
