Matt Durfee has been writing and performing his unique brand of singer-songwriter folk-rock in the region for some time now, honing his craft as a solo artist, as half of the acoustic folk duo Palatypus, and as band leader of the acoustic rock trio The Rattling Baddlies. His music has drawn comparisons to a wide array of artists; from Nick Drake and Jeff Buckley to "American Beauty" era Grateful Dead.

Now, after much delay, his debut solo album "Little World" is finished, and he's celebrating the occasion two-fold with a release show and birthday bash featuring music from the new album, as well as very special performances from musical compatriots Alta Mira and Henry's Rifle. Copies of the new CD will be available at a special, one-time-only rate.
